The Merchant

Autonomous commerce engine — listings, pricing, and fulfillment logic.

The Merchant is a governable commerce layer that automates the handoffs between awareness and payment — with explicit rules for catalog, price, and fulfillment so you keep strategy while systems handle repetition.

It can propose and update listings, segment customers for pricing and promotions, orchestrate stock and allocation logic, and route orders through your fulfillment and partner contracts. It connects to existing ERP, POS, and e-commerce without a rip-and-replace. Decisions are versioned, explainable, and overridable by policy. You define margins, geographies, channel rules, and compliance (tax, industry-specific constraints). The engine runs against those rules at scale, surfacing exceptions to people instead of errors to customers.

How it fits your business

If you are B2B with complex price books, D2C with high SKU velocity, or a multi-sided marketplace, the Merchant’s contracts adapt: catalog shape, channel mix, payment and shipping providers, and approval layers. Smaller businesses get strong defaults; enterprises plug in governance and line-of-business systems. You can start with one category, region, or channel, then grow as confidence builds.

Data boundaries, policies, and rollouts are scoped to your org — you own the contract for how each archetype runs.
